Signs the Trailer Rim Needs Replacing
- Replace or inspect the rim if there is significant corrosion, cracking around the centre or stud holes, elongated stud holes, damaged wheel-nut seats, distortion, excessive run-out, bead-seat damage or repeated loss of tyre pressure caused by rim deterioration.
- Boat trailer wheels should also be inspected on the rear face and tyre bead area, where corrosion may be less visible.
