Important Fitment Information
- The primary identification measurements are
- 67.5 mm OD × 17.1 mm ID × 16.18 mm high – 6 blades – key drive.
- Do not select the impeller solely by horsepower. Suzuki used different impellers on engines with similar horsepower ratings.
In particular
- DF30 ≠ automatically DF30A.
Signs the Impeller Needs Replacing
- Inspect or replace the impeller if the tell-tale stream becomes weak or intermittent, the engine overheats, a temperature alarm activates, the rubber becomes hard or cracked, blades remain permanently bent, sections of blades are missing, or the water-pump service history is unknown.
- CEF recommends regular inspection because the rubber hardens with age and damaged blades can break away and enter the cooling system.
