Signs Your Trailer Axle Needs Replacing
- Consider replacing or professionally inspecting the axle if you notice bending, excessive corrosion, damaged bearing journals, worn spindle threads, abnormal tyre wear, incorrect wheel alignment or repeated wheel-bearing failures.
- When installing a replacement axle, inspect the wheel bearings, seals, hubs, springs, U-bolts, spring plates and suspension hardware at the same time.
