- Before ordering, confirm the existing axle's tip-to-tip length, 39mm round beam diameter, LM/Holden bearing profile, hub-face measurement, spring/U-bolt arrangement and wheel clearance.
- Do not select an axle solely from the boat or trailer model because axles, hubs and suspension components may have been changed previously.
Signs Your Trailer Axle Needs Replacing
- Replace or professionally inspect the axle if you find severe corrosion, bending, damaged bearing journals, worn spindle threads, abnormal tyre wear, wheel-alignment problems or repeated wheel-bearing failures.
- When changing the axle, also inspect the bearings, seals, hubs, springs, U-bolts and suspension hardware.
