Signs Your Trailer Axle Needs Replacing
- Replace or professionally inspect the axle if you notice bending, excessive corrosion, damaged bearing journals, worn spindle threads, abnormal tyre wear, wheel-alignment issues or repeated wheel-bearing failures.
- When installing a replacement axle, also inspect the bearings, seals, hubs, springs, U-bolts, spring plates and suspension hardware.
