The A45S64G Galvanised Trailer Axle is a heavy-duty 45mm × 45mm solid square steel axle measuring 64" / approximately 1625mm tip-to-tip. Unlike the A40S series, this 45mm axle is machined for SL / Ford-type bearings, making it suitable for heavier boat, marine and general trailer applications.

Important Fitment Information
- Before ordering, confirm the existing trailer requires approximately 1625mm tip-to-tip, a 45mm × 45mm square beam, and SL/Ford bearings. Also check the hub-face measurement, spring/U-bolt arrangement, wheel offset, brake configuration and required axle load rating.
- Axle length is measured from the very end of one spindle to the other.
Signs Your Trailer Axle Needs Replacing
- Replacement or professional inspection is recommended for severe corrosion, a bent axle beam, damaged bearing journals, worn spindle threads, abnormal tyre wear, wheel misalignment or repeated bearing failures.
- When fitting a new axle, inspect the wheel bearings, seals, hubs, springs, U-bolts, spring plates and braking components at the same time.
