Important Fitment Information
- Before ordering, confirm the existing trailer requires a 79" / approximately 2005mm tip-to-tip axle, 45mm × 45mm square beam and SL/Ford bearings. Also check hub-face width, spring and U-bolt arrangement, wheel offset, brake configuration and required axle capacity.
- Axle length is measured from the very end of one spindle to the end of the opposite spindle.
Signs Your Trailer Axle Needs Replacing
- Replacement or professional inspection is recommended if the axle shows severe corrosion, bending, damaged bearing journals, worn spindle threads, abnormal tyre wear, wheel misalignment or repeated wheel-bearing failures.
- When fitting a replacement axle, also inspect the wheel bearings, seals, hubs, springs, U-bolts, spring plates and braking components.
