Signs Your V-Block Needs Replacing
- Replace the V-block when it develops deep grooves, cracking, splitting, excessive deformation, enlarged mounting bore or significant wear where the boat bow contacts the block.
- Also inspect the mounting bolt/pin, winch post, bow eye, winch strap and surrounding brackets during replacement.
