The ARK EG10 Ezi-Guide is a spring-loaded self-aligning boat retrieval system designed to make launching and retrieving easier, particularly in wind, current and rough-water conditions. The V-shaped roller arms automatically guide the hull toward the centreline of the trailer as the boat is winched forward. The EG10 bolts onto the trailer's rear cross-member using ARK's U-bolt Ezi-Mount system, so installation requires no drilling or welding.

Suitable Applications
- The EG10 is recommended for 14–16ft (4.2–4.8m) powerboats. ARK also specifies it for 16–20ft (4.8–6m) sailboats. Boat dimensions are a guide because hull shape, weight and trailer configuration can affect suitability. It is particularly useful for boat owners who regularly retrieve their boat alone or launch at ramps exposed to wind and current.
How It Works
- As the boat approaches the trailer, the spring-loaded V-shaped roller arms contact the hull and help guide it toward the trailer centreline. As you continue winching, the boat is directed onto the trailer's main roller or skid system.
Signs of Replacement
- Inspect the Ezi-Guide system if the rollers are excessively worn, roller arms are bent, springs have lost tension, mounting brackets are damaged or corroded, or the system no longer guides the boat evenly.
- Replacement top rollers and other roller components are available separately for EG10 systems.
