How the Ezi-Guide Works
- During retrieval, the spring-loaded roller arms contact the hull and form a self-centring guide. As the boat is winched forward, the arms help direct it toward the trailer centreline and onto the main roller or skid system. This can be particularly useful at exposed ramps where wind or current tends to push the boat sideways.
Trailer Cross-Member Compatibility
- The slotted mounting brackets accommodate 50mm to 75mm cross-members. The supplied U-bolts are specifically for a 50 × 50mm cross-member. If mounting the EG10 to a larger 75mm cross-member, appropriately sized U-bolts need to be purchased separately.
Suitable Applications
- Suitable for fibreglass, aluminium and other compatible trailer boats within the recommended size range, particularly where easier centring is required during solo retrieval or at ramps affected by wind and current.
Important Fitment Information
- Install the guide assemblies on the rear trailer cross-member as close as practical to the keel roller. Before purchasing, check the trailer cross-member size, hull shape, available mounting clearance and location of existing rollers, skids, brake lines and wiring.
Signs the Ezi-Guide Needs Repair or Replacement
- Inspect the system if the roller arms become bent, the rollers or end caps are excessively worn, the springs lose tension, mounting brackets become damaged or corroded, or the two sides no longer guide the boat evenly.
