Signs Your Spring Hanger Needs Replacing
- Inspect or replace the hanger if you find elongated bolt holes, cracking around the welds, severe corrosion, bending, distortion or excessive movement of the spring eye.
- When replacing a hanger, also inspect the spring eye, spring bolt, nylon bush, spring itself, axle, U-bolts and associated suspension hardware.
