Signs the Gasket Needs Replacing
- Replace the gasket if it is torn, cracked, hardened, distorted, swollen or damaged during fuel-pump disassembly. It should also be replaced where there is evidence of leakage or poor sealing.
- When rebuilding the pump, inspect 334-04005-0 Pump Diaphragm, both 356-04044-0 Check Valves, and the associated fuel-pump gasket at the same time.
