Signs the O-Ring Needs Replacing
- Replace 332-66032-0 if it is flattened, cracked, cut, hardened, swollen or distorted. It should also be inspected whenever the shift/cam rod or associated lower-unit bushing is removed.
- Gear oil leaking around the shift mechanism or milky/cloudy gear oil can indicate water intrusion and warrants inspection of this O-ring and the other lower-unit seals.
