Signs Your Trailer Bearings Need Replacing
- Replace or service the bearings if there is rumbling or grinding, excessive wheel play, overheating hubs, roughness when turning the wheel, rusty or contaminated grease, water inside the hub, damaged seals, or visible pitting and corrosion on the bearings.
- Boat trailer bearings should be inspected regularly because repeated water immersion can contaminate the grease and dramatically shorten bearing life.
