The SCL2 Swivel Jockey Wheel Clamp is a heavy-duty two-hole mounting bracket designed for compatible 350kg jockey wheels with a 48mm outer tube. Its swivel mechanism allows the jockey wheel to rotate into a horizontal travelling position without removing it from the trailer. Suitable for boat, camper, caravan and utility trailers, the bracket can be incorporated into compatible bolt-on or weld-on installations.

  • 185mm (7.28") mounting-hole centres

Jockey Wheel Compatibility

  • The SCL2 is intended for standard jockey wheels with a 48mm outside tube diameter and a published 350kg capacity/application. It is not the correct clamp for larger heavy-duty jockey wheels using approximately 55–60mm outer tubes; those require a heavier clamp such as FCL2HD or another model matched to the jockey wheel.

Swivel Design

  • Unlike a fixed clamp, the SCL2 allows the jockey wheel assembly to pivot upwards when the trailer is being towed. This means the jockey wheel does not normally need to be completely removed after coupling the trailer.

Suitable Applications

  • Suitable for compatible jockey wheels fitted to boat trailers, jet ski trailers, camper trailers, caravans, box trailers and utility trailers.

Important Fitment Information

  • Before ordering, confirm the jockey wheel has a 48mm OD outer tube and check the trailer mounting arrangement. For an existing installation, also confirm the 185mm mounting-hole centres.
  • The 350kg figure refers to the compatible jockey-wheel application; it should not be interpreted as the trailer's ATM or total towing capacity.

Signs the Swivel Clamp Needs Replacing

  • Replace the clamp if the pivot develops excessive movement, the locking mechanism no longer holds securely, the mounting holes become elongated, the clamp is bent or cracked, or corrosion has significantly weakened the assembly.
