The SCA8 Adjustable Swivel Jockey Wheel Bracket is designed for compatible jockey wheels with a 48mm outside tube diameter. The integrated clamp allows the jockey wheel height to be adjusted, while the spring-loaded locking mechanism lets the assembly swivel into a horizontal travelling position. Its multi-fit mounting plate accommodates common trailer drawbar sizes, making it suitable for boat, camper, caravan and utility trailer applications.

Jockey Wheel Compatibility

  • The SCA8 is designed around a 48mm outside-diameter jockey wheel tube and is suitable for compatible standard and medium-duty jockey wheels using this tube size.
  • The bracket clamps around the jockey wheel tube, allowing the operating height to be adjusted before tightening. This differs from a conventional two-hole swing-up bracket where the jockey wheel body is permanently attached to the swivel plate.

Swivel / Swing-Up Operation

  • A spring-loaded locking mechanism allows the jockey wheel to be released and rotated into a horizontal travelling position.
  • When the jockey wheel is returned to its operating position, the locking mechanism secures the assembly for use.
  • This combines the convenience of a swing-up jockey wheel with the vertical adjustment available from a conventional clamp-mounted jockey wheel.
