Signs the Flywheel Key Needs Replacing
- Replace 334-00131-0 if the key is sheared, rounded, deformed, cracked or damaged during flywheel removal. A damaged key can allow the flywheel to move from its intended crankshaft position and may contribute to incorrect ignition timing or poor engine operation.
- If a key has sheared, the crankshaft keyway and flywheel keyway should also be inspected for damage before fitting the replacement.
