Signs of Replacement
- Replace the mounting bolt and washer if there is thread damage, bending, excessive corrosion, worn bolt shoulders, damaged washer surfaces or movement between the caliper and mounting plate.
- When servicing the bolt, also inspect the caliper bush, mounting plate, brake pads, adjusting mechanism, spring, brake disc and cable system.
