Important Fitment Information

  • BP7HS-10 is different from B7HS-10. The “P” means projected insulator/electrode configuration, so the two plugs should not automatically be interchanged simply because their thread size, heat range and gap are similar.
  • Likewise, BP7HS, BP7HS-10, BPR7HS-10 and BP8HS-10 are not automatically interchangeable. Confirm the engine model, year/serial number, required heat range, resistor requirement and specified gap before installation. Mercury's application data shows different plugs being specified across apparently similar horsepower ranges and production years.
