The NGK BPR7HS (Stock No. 6422) is a resistor-type projected spark plug suited to selected 2-stroke outboard motors. Featuring a nickel centre electrode, copper-core construction and gasket seat, it provides reliable ignition, effective heat transfer and reduced electrical interference. BPR7HS is used in selected Tohatsu, Mercury/Mariner and Johnson/Evinrude applications where the standard-gap BPR7HS is specified.

Important Fitment Information

  • BPR7HS uses a 14 mm × 1.25 thread, 12.7 mm reach and gasket seat. Confirm the engine model, year and required spark gap before installation.
  • Pay particular attention to the suffix. BPR7HS and BPR7HS-10 should not be treated as identical catalogue applications, even though they share the same basic plug dimensions. The -10 identifies the factory wide-gap version.
