The NGK BR5HS is a standard resistor spark plug used in selected small 2-stroke outboard motors and other petrol engines. Featuring a nickel centre electrode, copper-core construction, gasket seat and built-in resistor, it provides dependable ignition while helping suppress electrical interference. Important Fitment Information

  • Although BR5HS is normally supplied with approximately a 0.6 mm / 0.024" gap, the required gap depends on the engine. For example, the Mariner 2A/2B application guide specifies 0.5 mm / 0.020". Always use the outboard manufacturer's specified gap rather than assuming the plug's supplied gap is correct. Marine Engine
