Signs the Wheel or Tyre Needs Replacing
- Replace or professionally inspect the assembly where there is sidewall cracking, bulging, exposed cords, excessive or uneven tread wear, persistent pressure loss, severe rim corrosion, rim distortion, cracking around the wheel centre, elongated stud holes or damaged wheel-nut seats.
- Boat trailer wheels should also be checked around the rear face and tyre bead area, where corrosion may be less visible.
