Signs the Wheel or Tyre Needs Replacing
- Replace or professionally inspect the assembly if there is sidewall cracking, bulging, exposed cords, excessive or uneven tread wear, persistent pressure loss, severe rim corrosion, rim distortion, cracking around the wheel centre, elongated stud holes or damaged wheel-nut seats.
- For boat trailers, inspect the inside face of the wheel and tyre bead area regularly, as corrosion may develop where it is less visible.
