Signs the Trailer Spring Needs Replacing
- Replace the spring when there are cracked or broken leaves, excessive corrosion, permanent sagging or flattening, worn eye bushes, damaged centre bolts, spreading or misaligned leaves, uneven trailer ride height or excessive suspension movement.
- For boat trailers, inspect the springs regularly after saltwater immersion and rinse the suspension with fresh water where practical.
