Signs the Trailer Spring Needs Replacing
- Replace the S7D if there are broken or cracked leaves, heavy corrosion, permanent sagging or flattening, worn eye bushes, a damaged centre bolt, separated or misaligned leaves, uneven trailer ride height or excessive suspension movement.
- For boat trailers, inspect the springs, U-bolts and hangers regularly, particularly after repeated saltwater immersion.
