Suitable Surfaces & Applications
- A1022 is suitable for pre-painted metal surfaces, steel, wrought iron and galvanised iron, as well as suitably prepared non-ferrous metals including aluminium, alloys, ZINCALUME® and stainless steel.
- For trailer and marine workshop use, it is particularly suitable for boat-trailer chassis components, brackets, guards, welds, fabricated steel components and damaged protective coatings where a satin-black finish is required.
High-Corrosion Applications
- For highly corrosive environments, the manufacturer recommends Grey Zinc as an undercoat to provide increased long-term rust protection before applying Satin Black Zinc.
