The Genuine Tohatsu 332-66112-0 is the OEM shift lever stopper spring used in the gear-shift mechanism of selected Tohatsu outboards. It works with the stopper holder and 5/16-inch steel detent ball to provide positive positioning and resistance as the shift mechanism moves between gear positions.

Signs the Spring Needs Replacing
- Replacement may be required if the spring is broken, badly corroded, compressed or distorted, has lost tension, or the gear-shift mechanism no longer has a positive detent feel. If the shifter feels unusually loose or fails to hold its intended position, inspect the spring, 5/16" detent ball, stopper holder and stopper plate together.
