Adjustable Over-Centre Design
- The threaded hook allows the effective latch length and clamping pressure to be adjusted. Once correctly set, closing the handle pulls the hook into tension and carries the mechanism over centre, helping keep the attached panel securely closed.
- This makes the TFLZ particularly useful where a firm closure is required but the door, tailgate or lid still needs to be opened regularly.
Lockable Design
- A padlock hole is incorporated into the fastener, allowing the closed latch to be secured with a suitable padlock. The padlock itself is not included.

Signs the Toggle Fastener Needs Replacing
- Replace the fastener if the handle is bent, the hook or threaded adjustment is damaged, the latch will no longer maintain tension, the mounting holes have elongated, the over-centre mechanism releases unexpectedly, or corrosion has significantly weakened the steel.
