- The 92202 is manufactured from formed steel and supplied with a galvanised finish. This provides improved corrosion protection, particularly useful on boat trailers exposed to freshwater, saltwater and coastal conditions.
Suitable Applications
- Suitable for compatible boat trailers, tinny trailers, fibreglass boat trailers, aluminium boat trailers, single-axle trailers, tandem-axle trailers and utility trailers fitted with a 40mm square axle and leaf-spring suspension.
- The axle seat normally works together with the leaf spring, fish plate and U-bolts to locate and clamp the axle securely to the suspension.
Signs Your Axle Seat Needs Replacing
- Replace the axle seat if it shows severe corrosion, cracking, deformation, excessive wear, elongated contact areas or damage caused by loose U-bolts.
- When replacing it, also inspect the axle, leaf springs, U-bolts, fish plates, spring hangers and bushes.
