Anchor & Winch Compatibility
- The JPW12834 is designed as a bow anchor roller for marine anchor systems. It supports and guides the anchor and rode over the bow during retrieval and deployment and can be incorporated into suitable manual or powered anchor-winch installations.
- Because anchor shape, shank dimensions and bow geometry vary considerably between boats, check the 130 × 105mm overall envelope, roller position and anchor clearance before installation.
Suitable Applications
- Ideal for trailer boats, fishing boats, runabouts and other recreational vessels requiring a compact stainless steel bow roller. The 316 stainless construction is particularly suited to saltwater marine environments.
Important Fitment Information
- Before installation, confirm there is adequate bow-deck space and that the anchor can travel through the roller without contacting the hull, bow fitting or surrounding hardware. The mounting arrangement uses two pre-drilled 8mm holes.
Signs the Anchor Roller Needs Replacing
- Inspect or replace the anchor roller if there is roller seizure, excessive roller wear, bent stainless side plates, damaged mounting holes, loose hardware or severe wear caused by the anchor shank, chain or rope. Correct alignment should also be checked whenever an anchor or winch setup is changed.
