The 63V-44352-01 aftermarket water pump impeller is designed for selected Yamaha, Mercury and Mariner outboards, providing reliable cooling-water circulation through the engine. Manufactured from flexible marine-grade neoprene with 6 blades, it replaces Yamaha 63V-44352-00, 63V-44352-01 and 63V-44352-02. Suitable for selected 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, including Yamaha 9.9–20HP applications and compatible Mercury/Mariner 9.9C and 15C models.

The strongest identifying measurements are

  • 53 mm OD × 12.85 mm ID × 14 mm high — 6 blades.
  • Do not select the impeller by horsepower alone. Yamaha used different water pumps within similar horsepower ranges, so check the outboard model, year and existing OEM impeller number before ordering.

Signs the Impeller Needs Replacing

  • Inspect or replace the impeller if the tell-tale water stream becomes weak or intermittent, the engine overheats, the temperature alarm activates, blades are cracked or permanently deformed, pieces are missing, or the service history is unknown.
  • A common preventative-maintenance recommendation for this aftermarket impeller is replacement annually or approximately every 100 operating hours, subject to the engine manufacturer's maintenance schedule and operating conditions.
