Signs of Replacement
- Replace your winch strap if you notice fraying, cuts, damaged stitching, UV deterioration, excessive fading, stretching, a bent or corroded hook, or damage around the winch drum attachment point.
- Inspect the strap and hook before every launch and retrieval, particularly where the trailer is regularly exposed to saltwater.
