With a rated single-line pull of 3000lb / 1360kg, it combines a 1.3HP permanent-magnet motor with a 153:1 three-stage planetary gearbox for controlled, powerful retrieval. For boat trailer applications, electric operation can significantly reduce the physical effort required when retrieving a boat compared with a conventional manual winch.

Signs of Replacement / Maintenance
- Inspect the winch regularly for damaged or frayed synthetic rope, damaged hook or safety latch, loose electrical connections, corrosion, abnormal gearbox noise, unreliable brake operation or intermittent remote-control operation.
- After saltwater exposure, rinse appropriate external components with fresh water and inspect electrical connections and mounting hardware for corrosion.
